Ways To Help

There are many ways you can support Sophie’s Appeal, from donating your pounds and pennies; be that online or in one of our collection boxes out in the community, to signing up to our charity lottery, attending or volunteering at one of our popular events, signing up for a sponsored event: maybe a marathon or cycle ride, fundraising through your work or maybe organising one of your own ‘in aid of’ fundraising events.
We couldn’t do any of the things we do without our fabulous supporters so if you’d like to help please do get in touch by emailing [email protected]

Donate Online

You can easily send a donation by going to JustGiving, Remember to tick the Gift Aid box on their website if you are a UK taxpayer as we will automatically receive an extra 25%.

Donate Regularly by Standing Order

Making a small regular donation every month is a fantastic way to support Sophie’s Appeal. It doesn’t have to be a large amount but it really helps us knowing we have a regular income month after month. You can choose whatever amount you wish – £10 a month is under 30p a day. Imagine if we had 100 wonderful supporters all donating just £10 each month, that’s £12,000 each year.

Payroll Giving

Many companies already have a Payroll Giving Scheme set up to allow their employees the opportunity to support the causes that are important to them, providing charities like Sophie’s Appeal with a long-term and regular income stream.
Check with your employer if you’d like to support us in this way.
If your employer doesn’t currently have a Payroll Giving Scheme you could always ask them about setting one up.

Donate by Cheque

Please make cheques payable to Sophie’s Appeal and send to us at:

Donate by Collection Box

We have various Collection Boxes out in the Community raising vital funds and awareness for us.
Your small change can make a real difference. By putting aside your loose change when you empty your pockets at night after you have been shopping or when you are de-cluttering your purse, you could save up a donation for our local Collection Box and not even notice the difference. Every penny and pound donated really does help.
If you would like one for your home, workplace, local pub, shop, coffee shop or favourite restaurant please do get in touch
